Gameday faq's
What time should I arrive to games? |
Football players are asked to arrive to a game two hours prior to the scheduled start time. This time is critical as it is needed for warmups as well as final walk throughs prior to the game starts. Teams are also required to check-in with the opposing team approximately one hour prior to the game beginning |
What happens if my child misses the team check-in? |
That is entirely at the discretion of the opposing team's coach. They may choose to not let your child play that day or sit out until half time. |
How do the participants get to away games? |
The High Ridge Chargers do not offer transportation to away games. Parents must provide or arrange for their child’s transportation. |
What should I bring to games? |
You will need to bring all your child's equipment plus their game uniform to the game. We also recommend sending your child with a water bottle and a small amount of cash to use at the concession stand for food |
Who is in charge of half-time snacks? |
Team parents coordinate who is responsible for game day snacks. Please look out for communication from your team mom and don't miss your assigned week! |
Does everyone get to play? |
Yes; every child plays and participates. The High Ridge Chargers have a minimum mandatory play rule. (Not including special team’s plays: kickoffs, punts, extra points, etc). |
